I'm Lea

I am a Lake Macquarie local, a proud mum of two young adults, and a passionate photographer dedicated to preserving meaningful memories.

While I have always loved taking photographs, my true passion for photography began in 2012 after discovering the work of Meg Bitton. The beautiful tones, soft light, and subtle vintage feel of her images captured not only my attention but also my imagination. I was inspired by the emotion and artistry she brought to every photograph and knew I wanted to create images that evoked the same feeling. That inspiration sparked the beginning of my formal photography education and creative journey.

Before becoming a professional photographer, I worked as a School Learning Support Officer, a role that allowed me to build strong connections with children and their families. It was during this time that I discovered where my heart truly lies. Photographing children is, without question, the most magical part of what I do.

Childhood passes in the blink of an eye. The innocence, wonder, and unique personalities of our children are constantly evolving, making each stage precious and fleeting. My passion is capturing them as they are in those authentic moments—their laughter, curiosity, imagination, and spirit. These photographs become more than just images; they become treasured memories, preserving a little piece of childhood magic to be cherished for generations to come.
